The people you might work with

Depending on what the business needs, Marty brings in people who have run the thing you are running.

Marty Park

Entrepreneur, advisor, author

Marty Park

Marty started his first company at 21, a technology venture he and a friend left university to build. Since then he has founded and operated 13 companies, including the San Remo Ristorante group and Rare Communications, both built and sold.

In 2004 he founded Evolve Business Group, and he has spent the twenty years since working directly with owners on growth, capital and exits. That work has covered more than 67 industries, with the deepest experience in medical and paramedical practices and in construction and the trades.

He was named Business Consultant of the Year for North America, was selected for Calgary's Top 40 Under 40, and represented Canada at G20 Entrepreneur Summits in France, Mexico City and Russia.

His book, Tiger by the Tail: 99 Secrets to Tame and Master Your Business, is an Amazon bestseller and holds 99 of the lessons from doing all of the above.

Amy Graham

Fractional COO, trades and public sector

Amy Graham

Amy grew up inside a family plumbing business run by her grandfather, her father and her brother. She started by answering service calls as a child, which is where the insider read on the trades came from. From there she moved into executive roles, including Sales and Marketing Executive at BellSouth and AT&T, working on market positioning and growth.

She holds commercial general contractor licenses in South Carolina (CLG.124310) and North Carolina (87779), and works as a government bidding specialist and business coach.

She has scaled hundreds of trades and public sector businesses, with clients reaching up to 2x revenue growth through better bidding and operations, and has coached firms to win 20 to 30 percent more government contracts. She has built and exited three ventures of her own.

Her read on the sector: trades and public sector firms get stuck on disorganization, inconsistent procedures and reactive strategy. The fix is a disciplined framework covering strategy, procedures, communication, implementation and documentation.

Norbert Park

Fractional CMO, real estate and consumer products

Norbert has spent over fifty years in real estate development and consumer products. His marketing foundation started at General Foods and Johnson & Johnson, where he moved from sales to Western Division Manager. Executive roles followed, including Regional GM at Melcor Developments and Sales and Marketing Manager at Jayman Master Built, Calgary's largest homebuilder.

At Melcor he scaled the housing division from 20 to more than 100 units a year over six years. He then founded SIX Real Estate Consulting, built it into Western Canada's project marketing firm for high rise developments, master planned communities and resort properties, and sold it to Sotheby's International Realty Canada.

He has built marketing frameworks for more than 500 real estate projects, with absorption rates averaging 30 percent above market benchmarks.

He is a former board member of the Canadian Home Builders Association (Calgary Region) and the Calgary Home Builders Foundation, a licensed real estate broker with Sotheby's International Realty Canada, and a sessional instructor in real estate marketing at the University of Calgary.

Peter Wood

Fractional advisor, capital and exit readiness

Peter's foundation is operating, not consulting. Over 13 years he founded, scaled and ran ventures across hospitality, retail and ecommerce, including four restaurants, a skincare brand and a kids' apparel company, generating more than 17M in collective revenue.

He launched his largest hospitality venture into the onset of the 2020 disruption, which sharpened his view on cash discipline, resilient operations, and the difference between the two. He later moved into luxury sales at Mercedes-Benz, working on high ticket buyer psychology.

He was an operator inside the Evolve Business Group system before he advised inside it, applying the same frameworks that simplified his own scale and transaction decisions.

His read: most owners are running the business in a way that will not hold up to serious diligence. Systems that worked at 1M in revenue start breaking around the size that attracts real capital interest or a credible buyer. His work is the levers that raise enterprise value before a transaction, and that make the business easier on the owner who built it.
